If you want to dip your toe into some literature that is experimental without being alienating, then I highly recommend Locos. It’s too bad more people haven’t read Cortazar. The sentences zigzagged in ways that didn’t complement my brain. There were themes, for sure, resonances, but nothing approaching actual full comprehension.
