The author has a good writing style. Wealthy, self-assured and with the right touch of troubled. For somebody who likes her books to have an abundance of sex, this book proved the perfect compromise.

I’m hardly a thief but don’t thieves usually use an alias? A rich alpha male who eboch trouble keeping his fingers and thoughts to himself.
The only reason I give this book a four instead of a five is that there’s not QUITE enough sex, and also Rick’s ex-wife is too much of an annoying cartoon character. Let me fix you another steak, Miss Jellicoe, and I’ll instruct my people to draw you a bath and make up the bedroom suite in the guest wing. I wanted to know more about their motives and flidting and what they did. I’m not a fan of chick-lit. In the spoiler tag, I’m putting a really dirty line from the book because it cracked me up.

The author’s notes at the end, describing the genesis of the book, are some of the most intriguing and enlightening I’ve read.
We I feel like the author is a good writer and I was compelled to buy the second book in the series to check it out, but it was a little light for my tastes, more chick-lit than I usually read, but still enjoyable. So I guess what I’m trying to wih is that this review might be kind of biased because Book 2 is kind of working it’s magic on me right now.

Suzajne would do that? The enocy with which the Palm Beach police treated him was expected, given his status in the close-knit, elite community, but he would be a fool to rely on it for anything more than keeping the press away from his front door. Samantha Jellicoe is an expert jewel thief; Rick Addison is a dashing British billionaire, and Sam’s latest target. And not the least bit mysterious flirtibg suspensy. The situation turns deadly when Sam spots a trip wire and crashes into Richard Addison, saving him from a bomb explosion. I’m looking forward to reading more books of this series.
She saves his life and suddenly he’s in love with her. To be honest, if there is a weakness in this book it is the plot which, frankly, takes a few too many twists and turns for my taste.

Deann Kachelmeier Don’t like historical so the only books I ever read of yours are the Jellico series. I’d set him up suzane a penthouse and wrap him up in jewels and furs.
We have a sexy billionaire with washboard abs and a cat burglar here, compared to a sexy billionaire and a cop in In Death.

At least she hadn’t panicked and tried to belt a near-naked woman for sneaking up behind her. But, instead of a pleasant, mindless read, the book primarily just irritated me.
This all changed, however, the night she attempts to steal a valuable item from a Enocg Beach estate. Yes, there is few similarities between these pairs, only a bit opposite. I was thinking more along the lines of a phone call or two — not inviting the fox back to the henhouse.
Something so identifiable as the scent of raspberries can be the downfall of a criminal.
