Of course, not all environments will require full range of values from light to dark. Work your environment in passes. Look at the color palette of each scene and location.
This book is well worth the money, actually not just to production designers, but for every artist.
Beauty and the Beast. There are many useful lessons, such as film analysis, visual development and research, camera rules, composition, staging and others. However, it doesn’t hurt to know a little bit about the scientific background of why to use them, especially when color is such an important dreamworldz of our business. The lessons taught are universal and can be applied in different fields if it’s related to art. In the dgeamworlds do not spend time on creating final props, textures, materials.

This is a very practical book. This book is well worth the money, actually not just to production designers, but for every artist. A good composition should have the right selection of order, rhythm and intelligent balance.
